    However, many companies have only limited options for meeting their electricity needs in a sustainable manner:

    • Roof-mounted solar panels typically cover only a small portion of electricity needs
    • Grid-supplied electricity remains expensive and volatile
    • Conventional wind turbines often cannot be built near industrial sites due to setback regulations

    As a result, there is currently no cost-effective solution for local renewable electricity production on an industrial scale.

    THE SOLUTION

    Wind energy directly to consumers

    With Vertical Sky®, Agile Wind Power has developed a new generation of wind turbines specifically designed for decentralized power generation in industrial, commercial, and municipal settings. The turbine combines the performance of large wind turbines with a design that allows for installation closer to consumption sites.

    Technical Specifications

    • 1 MW rated power per turbine
    • Average annual production of approximately 2.4 GWh
    • Extremely low noise level of about 38 dB at a distance of 25 meters
    • Patented real-time pitch control of the rotor blades

    This combination enables cost-effective on-site wind power generation for the first time.

    COST-EFFECTIVENESS

    Local wind energy significantly reduces energy costs

    Decentralized wind energy can replace expensive grid electricity with locally generated renewable electricity. An example from the industrial sector illustrates the economic potential:

    • Grid electricity price: approx. €0.27/kWh
    • Electricity from Vertical Sky®: approx. €0.12/kWh
    • Up to 40% lower energy costs

    For typical industrial projects, the payback period is around seven years.

    In addition to cost advantages, companies benefit from:
