Agile Wind Power develops and sells the first large, scalable and economic vertical-axis wind turbines under the brand Vertical Sky®. The company has been founded in 2010 as a Swiss corporation.

History
Nine years of development
Agile Wind Power is based on the story of Karl Bahnmüller. In summer 2005, he built a windmill for his grandchildren, which was supposed to turn the stream in the garden into a “pirate sea” for the kids’ pirate boats. If his son-in-law Patrick Richter had been told that this small windmill would change his life he would have shaken his head in disbelief.
We will start a small revolution.

Patrick Richter has a soft spot for windmills. Since a small windmill turned his life upside down, he fully concentrated on the realization of the vertical-axis wind turbine. But his goal are no longer small wind turbines but large ones. Really large ones!
