Thomas Hug is a renowned industry expert. The Swiss entrepreneur founded the well-established Hug Engineering AG, which is nowadays part of an international corporation.

When Hug sold his company in 2011 at the age of 59 years it was perfectly clear to him that his career was not over yet. In search of a new field of interest he became aware of the start-up Agile Wind Power AG. Especially the lower required space of the Vertical Sky® turbine, the acceptance of bird conservationists and ecologists as well as the easy installation convinced the engineer. Since 2013 Thomas Hug leads the engineering team of six members and is in charge of all decisions.
