A2 for wind tunnel takes shape

A fully functional Vertical Sky® system for the wind tunnel is created. For verification of the observed behavior on the 2nd full-size prototype, wind tunnel tests were carried out with a model this February. A further wind tunnel test is now planned for July. For this purpose, a scaled-down turbine with a rotor diameter of 2m has been developed. This turbine is currently being assembled and commissioned by our engineers.
 

With the second series of measurements, the possible operating conditions of the turbine are to be tested and the behavior of the turbine is to be understood even better. This is largely about the influence of effects that can only be observed and recorded in the model test.
