Small happening - nice occasion: Everybody who had the time tried a delve of spade himself. The weather was also kind to us.

"We consider the vertical-axis wind turbine as a highly interesting technical solution, which we will support in line with our holistic sustainability approach. Apart from the vehicle itself we would like to offer our customers also the sustainable energy required for it", says Reiner Mangold, Head of Sustainable Product Development at Audi AG. The automobile manufacturer supports the project in the scope of its corporate sustainability approach. The electric Audi e-tron (combined electric power consumption in kWh/100 km (62.1mi)*: 26,2 – 22,6 (WLTP); 24,6 – 23,7 (NEFC); CO2 emissions combined in g/km (g/mi): 0) marks the dawn of a new era for Audi. The brand with the four rings is being transformed from a classic automotive manufacturer to a premium mobility systems supplier.

Managing Director of Wtg Monika Krämer is pleased: «The installation and measurement of this innovative wind turbine shows the importance of our interior land test field for paving the way to marketability for new turbine types.»
